     Louisa 'Lou' Satterwhite was born on 26 October 1832 at Georgia. She married Mathew Rickerson on 16 November 1848 at Harris County, Georgia. Louisa 'Lou' Satterwhite married Leonidas L. 'Lon' Washington on 8 March 1855 at Rusk County, Texas. Louisa 'Lou' Satterwhite married James Herring circa 1875.
     Louisa 'Lou' Satterwhite appeared on the census of 1 July 1870 at Dwelling 165; Page 24, Precinct 1, Houston County, Texas; is age 26 (should be 36), and she is keeping house. Four children are with her. She lives near her brothers and their families. She appeared on the census of 1 June 1880 at S.D.5; E.D.69; Page 33, Galveston, Galveston County, Texas; is age 42 (should be 47), is now married to James Herring. Her daughter, Martha Washington, is with them. James is working as a minister of the Gospel.

     Leonidas L. 'Lon' Washington was born circa 1825 at Arkansas. He married Louisa 'Lou' Satterwhite, daughter of John Satterwhite and Emmaline Morris, on 8 March 1855 at Rusk County, Texas.
     Leonidas L. 'Lon' Washington appeared on the census of 13 July 1860 at Dwelling 737; Page 108, Western District - Gilmer, Upshur County, Texas; is age 34, married to Louisa, and he is working as a tailor. Two children are with them.

     Mathew Rickerson was born circa 1818 at Georgia. He married Louisa 'Lou' Satterwhite, daughter of John Satterwhite and Emmaline Morris, on 16 November 1848 at Harris County, Georgia.
     Mathew Rickerson appeared on the census of 8 October 1850 at Dweling 770; Household 770, Whitakers District, Harris County, Georgia; is age 32, married to 'Lucy', and he is farming. Benjamin F., age 6 months, is with them. I believe this is our Louisa (Satterwhite) with first husband, and a son Benjamin. Freeman Rickerson, age 30, is with them. I believe this is a brother to Mathew.

     James Herring was born circa 1847 at Georgia. He married Louisa 'Lou' Satterwhite, daughter of John Satterwhite and Emmaline Morris, circa 1875.

     Nathan Childs was born in 1730 at Louisa County, Virginia. He married Elizabeth (?) before 1750.

     Milford Coy Runnels was born on 8 January 1921 at Hog Creek, Bollinger County, Missouri. He died on 17 August 1995 at Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, at age 74. He was buried on 22 August 1995 at Bolinger County, Missouri.

     Elizabeth (?) was born circa 1731 at Louisa County, Virginia. She married Nathan Childs before 1750. Elizabeth (?) died circa 1762.

     Amy Childs was born circa 1782 at Granville County, North Carolina. She died circa 1856 at Jones County, Georgia.
     Amy Childs appeared on the census of 31 October 1850 at Dwelling 724, Division 47, Jones County, Georgia; is age 68, and is living alone.

     Lucy Childs was born circa 1786 at Granville County, North Carolina. She married Wesley Pitts circa 1805. Lucy Childs died circa 1860 at Hazelhurst, Copiah County, Mississippi.

     Martha 'Patsy' Childs was born circa 1799 at Elbert County, Georgia. She married Thomas Boswell on 9 December 1819 at Jones County, Georgia; I have copy of marriage license.

     Frances 'Phranny' Childs was born circa 1804.

     Susannah Childs was born circa 1790 at Elbert County, Georgia.

     Michael Satterwhite Childs was born in 1788 at Georgia. He married Mary Jarrell on 19 December 1834 at Jones County, Georgia; I have copy of marriage license. Michael Satterwhite Childs died in 1865.
     Michael Satterwhite Childs appeared on the census of 28 October 1850 at Dwelling 681, Division 47, Jones County, Georgia; is age 62, married to Mary, and he is farming. Eleven children are with them. He appeared on the census of 1 July 1860 at Dwelling 149, Hammocks District, Jones County, Georgia; is age 73, and he is farming. Mary is not with him. Four children are with him.

     John Iris Childs Jr. was born on 10 September 1789 at Elbert County, Georgia. He married Sarah Alexander, daughter of William Alexander and Nancy (?), on 15 February 1820 at Elbert County, Georgia. John Iris Childs Jr. died on 10 September 1843 at Jones County, Georgia, at age 54.

     William Childs was born on 4 October 1797 at Elbert County, Georgia. He married Nancy Alexander on 28 March 1822 at Jones County, Georgia; I have copy of marriage license. William Childs married Mary Ann Shackleford on 27 September 1837 at Talbot County, Georgia. William Childs died on 1 March 1853 at Talbot County, Georgia, at age 55.
     William Childs appeared on the census of 8 November 1850 at Dwelling 1129, District 24, Talbot County, Georgia; is age 52, married to 'Ann', and he is farming. Nine children are with them. They live near William's daughter, Susan Freeman and her family.

     Nancy Alexander was born in 1800. She married William Childs, son of John Iris Childs Sr. and Susannah Satterwhite, on 28 March 1822 at Jones County, Georgia; I have copy of marriage license. Nancy Alexander died circa 1836.

     Thomas Madison Childs was born in 1793 at Georgia. He married Elizabeth (?) circa 1815.
     Thomas Madison Childs appeared on the census of 24 July 1860 at Dwelling 292; Page 43, Northern Division, Chambers County, Alabama; is age 65, married to Elizabeth, and he is farming. With them are, John, Susanna, William, & Martha Childs, and Mary Capps, age 58.

     Elijah Childs was born on 18 January 1800 at Elbert County, Georgia. He married Sarah Thornton on 14 January 1830 at Elbert County, Georgia. Elijah Childs died on 17 August 1854 at age 54.

     Elisha Childs was born on 18 January 1800. He married Cynthia Thornton on 1 March 1822. Elisha Childs married Catherine Green on 15 June 1834. Elisha Childs died on 17 May 1874 at age 74.

     Sarah Alexander was born on 3 February 1800. She married John Iris Childs Jr., son of John Iris Childs Sr. and Susannah Satterwhite, on 15 February 1820 at Elbert County, Georgia. Sarah Alexander died on 8 June 1863 at age 63.

     William Rucker Childs was born on 23 June 1814. He died on 12 August 1890 at age 76.

     Susan Surepto Childs was born on 2 March 1818. She died in February 1862 at age 43.

     Elizabeth Childs was born on 8 December 1820. She died in October 1864 at age 43.

     Emily Childs was born on 1 April 1823. She died in 1883.

     John Floyd Childs was born on 26 July 1825. He died circa February 1897.

     Willis Sims Childs was born on 8 November 1827. He died on 1 June 1901 at age 73.

     George Washington Childs was born on 4 July 1830.

     Thomas Jefferson Childs was born on 4 July 1830. He died on 24 August 1836 at age 6.

     James Madison Childs was born on 8 October 1832 at Jones County, Georgia. He died on 3 August 1908 at Monroe County, Georgia, at age 75.

     Mordica Alexander Childs was born on 12 March 1835.
