Since the date of his removal to the cemetery is 26 August 1953, I believe the correct date of his death is what is on his marker. He was buried on 26 August 1953 at Oakwood Cemetery, Conroe, Montgomery County, Texas.

     Elwell Allen Satterwhite was born on 18 March 1900 at Travis, Falls County, Texas. He married Lavada Mae Crenshaw on 24 February 1921 at Bremond, Robertson County, Texas.
