     Dovie Angeline Hollis was born in June 1889 at Texas. She married George Nickles McElroy, son of James Owens McElroy and Martha J. Hall, in 1903. Dovie Angeline Hollis died before 27 July 1933; I have copy of article about her death. She was buried circa 27 July 1933 at Boggy Cemetery, Burns Flat, Washita County, Oklahoma.

     George Nickles McElroy was born on 25 December 1882 at Texas; On his World War I registration card, George's birth year is 1883. He married Dovie Angeline Hollis, daughter of John Isaac Hollis, in 1903. George Nickles McElroy died on 14 December 1944 at age 61; I have copy of death notice. He and his brother-in-law, George W. Buchannan, died the same day. I do not know the circumstances of their deaths. He was buried on 15 December 1944 at Boggy Cemetery, Burns Flat, Washita County, Oklahoma.

Four children are with them. He appeared on the census of 5 April 1930 at E.D.75-18; S.D.4; Sheet 2 A, Oakdale Township, Washita County, Oklahoma; is age 46, married to Dovie, and he is farming. Five children are with them. Their daughter Lorena, and her husband are next door.

He appeared on the census of April 1930 at E.D.55-1; S.D.5; Sheet 4 B, Bethany, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma; is age 53, married to Effie, and he is working as a house carpenter. Three children are with them.
