     Manerva A Satterwhite was born circa 1878.

     Ida B. Satterwhite was born in 1879. She married Clinton C. Foster, son of Washington Foster and Elizabeth (?), on 13 September 1896 at Independence County, Arkansas; I have copy of marriage license. Ida B. Satterwhite died circa September 1897; may have died in childbirth. She was buried circa September 1897 at Eutopia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery on Mount Carmel Road, Sharp County, Arkansas; I have picture of grave marker.

     Clinton C. Foster was born in July 1872 at Arkansas. He married Ida B. Satterwhite, daughter of David M. Satterwhite and Mary Elizabeth Henley, on 13 September 1896 at Independence County, Arkansas; I have copy of marriage license.
     Clinton C. Foster appeared on the census of 9 June 1900 at S.D.2; E.D.57; Sheet 7 B, Glass Township, Jackson County, Arkansas; is age 27, widowed and is farming. He and his daughter Lena are living with Clinton's parents.

     Effie L. Satterwhite was born on 24 August 1886 at Arkansas. She married John William Darr, son of Henry Levi Darr and Sarah Ann Moyers, before 1907. Effie L. Satterwhite died on 12 December 1907 at age 21. She was buried after 12 December 1907 at Heath/Willow Springs Cemetery, Rockwall County, Texas.

     William Satterwhite was born circa 1826 at Georgia. He married L. F. 'Louisa' (?) circa 1849. William Satterwhite married Elizabeth A. Martin on 8 March 1874 at Independence County, Arkansas; I have copy of marriage license. Elizabeth was a Blevins when she married William. William Satterwhite died on 25 January 1898.
     William Satterwhite appeared on the census of 10 October 1850 at West Chick, Troup County, Georgia;
William age 23
Louisa age 19
David age 3 months. He appeared on the census of 12 June 1860 at Dwelling 181; Page 25, Marion Township, Phillips County, Arkansas; is age 35, married to L. F., and he is farming. Five children are with them. He began military service on 11 March 1862 at Helena, Phillips County, Arkansas, signed up for 12 months. He was in the Confederate Army, Company B, 23rd Arkansas Infantry, Adam's Regiment. He appeared on the census of 19 June 1880 at S.D.2; E.D. 192; Page 21, Sullivan Township, Sharp County, Arkansas; is age 54, married to Elizabeth, and he is farming. William's daughter, Sarah, is with them.

     L. F. 'Louisa' (?) was born in 1831 at Georgia. She married William Satterwhite, son of David Mitchell Satterwhite and Ferbia Baldwin, circa 1849. L. F. 'Louisa' (?) died in 1870 at Arkansas. She was buried in 1870 at Eutopia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery on Mount Carmel Road, Sharp County, Arkansas; I cannot say with certainty that this is where Louisa is buried. I have been told that both she and William are buried here. There is a grave marker in Eutopia Cemetery that is nearly illegible. The name on it appears to be F. J. or F. T. Satterwhite with the birth date February 28, 1831 and death date January 8, 1874. Since I don't have anyone matching the name or dates on this marker, I am hoping this is the marker for Louisa. Some researchers have her death date as 1870. If this is correct, then this cannot be her marker. I am sorry to say that I somehow failed to get a picture of the marker while we were visiting the cemetery. I am still researching.

     Joseph Pomfret Davis married Frances Satterwhite, daughter of Michael Satterwhite and Amey Mitchell, on 22 December 1774 at Granville County, North Carolina. Joseph Pomfret Davis died in May 1812 at Granville County, North Carolina.

     Robert Clemons Pectol was born on 4 December 1903 at Arkansas. He married Lydia Garrison, daughter of Clarence Warden Garrison and Minnie Frances Satterwhite, on 17 November 1922 at Independence County, Arkansas. Robert Clemons Pectol died on 17 June 1988 at Newark, Independence County, Arkansas, at age 84.

     Ferbia Baldwin was born in 1806 at Georgia. She married David Mitchell Satterwhite, son of David Satterwhite and Rebecca (?), on 13 January 1825 at Jones County, Georgia; I have a copy of the recorded marriage license. To protect the original documents that were deteriorating, in 1937, a transcription was made from the book in which original license info was recorded. There were errors made in the process of transcribing. According to the marriage record, the marriage license was obtained a year prior to their marriage. The date of their marriage found in the online Jones County, Georgia marriage index is 8 May 1825. I cannot say with any certainty which is the correct date of their marriage. One needs to view the original document, and I am not sure they will allow that today. Ferbia Baldwin died circa 1870 at Georgia.

     David Satterwhite was born on 25 December 1830 at Georgia. He married Mary Elizabeth Beckham, daughter of Jesse Beckham and Susan Griffin, before 1853. David Satterwhite married Nancy Jane Blevins, daughter of Jonathan Blevins and Emily Maxwell, on 17 October 1861 at Georgia. David Satterwhite died on 21 April 1901 at Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas, at age 70. He was buried after 21 April 1901 at White's Chapel Cemetery, Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas; I have picture of grave marker.
     David Satterwhite appeared on the census of 5 July 1860 at Page 14, 1129 District; Rising Town Post Office, Dade County, Georgia; is living with Peter Forester who lives three doors down from the Beckhams with whom David's children, John and Susan, are living. He appeared on the census of 3 June 1870 at Dwelling 18; Page 3, Smith Post Office; 1129 GM, Dade County, Georgia; is age 37, married to Nancy, and he is farming. Three children are with them. He appeared on the census of 12 June 1880 at S.D. 3; E.D.94; Page 23, District 94, Tarrant County, Texas; is age 50, married to Nancy, and he is farming. Four children are with them. He appeared on the census of 19 June 1900 at S.D. 3; E.D.112; Sheet 6 B, Voting Precinct 9, Tarrant County, Texas; is age 69, has been married 38 years to Nancy and he is farming. Nancy has had 6 children, only 3 are living. Their son, William, is with them.

     Louvenia Tiariliana Satterwhite was born circa 1833 at Georgia. She married Elisha Forester, son of Heveloe Forester and Nancy Cartwright, circa 1857. Louvenia Tiariliana Satterwhite died on 28 February 1891 at Dade County, Georgia.

     Elijah Satterwhite was born circa 1836 at Georgia.

     Elizabeth A. 'Betsy' Satterwhite was born in 1838 at Georgia. She married Edward Forester, son of Heveloe Forester and Nancy Cartwright, circa 1854. Elizabeth A. 'Betsy' Satterwhite died after 1858 at Dade County, Georgia. She died in 1904. She was buried in 1904 at Miller Cemetery, Rising Fawn, Dade County, Georgia.

     Lucinda Antoinette Satterwhite was born circa April 1839 at Georgia. She married James Madison Beckham, son of Jesse Beckham and Susan Griffin, in 1855.
     As of circa April 1839, Lucinda Antoinette Satterwhite was also known as Lucinda Annette Satterwhite. She appeared on the census of 2 June 1900 at S.D.2; E.D.77; Sheet 18 B, Caroline Township, Lonoke County, Arkansas; is age 64, has been married 45 years to James. She and her sons Albert & Eldridge are living with her son "Aleck", whom I believe to be James A.. James Madison is not listed. She appeared on the census of 19 January 1920 at S.D.3; E.D.15; Sheet 8 A, Durant, Bryan County, Oklahoma; is age 79, widowed, and she is with her son William and his wife Mary.

     Rebecca Satterwhite was born circa 1842 at Walker County, Georgia.

     Susan P. Satterwhite was born circa 1846 at Walker County, Georgia. She married John E. Beckham, son of Jesse Beckham and Susan Griffin, in 1859. Susan P. Satterwhite died on 20 December 1868 at Arkansas.

     Michael Satterwhite was born circa 1733 at Virginia. He married Amey Mitchell, daughter of James Mitchell and Amey Ann Davis, in 1754 at Granville County, North Carolina. Michael Satterwhite died on 24 March 1804 at Granville County, North Carolina.
     Michael Satterwhite began military service was Captain during Revolutionary War. He was registrar of Granville County for many years. As of circa 1733, Michael Satterwhite was also known as John Michael Satterwhite.

     Amey Mitchell was born circa 1736. She married Michael Satterwhite in 1754 at Granville County, North Carolina.

     James I. Satterwhite Sr. was born circa 1755 at Granville County, North Carolina. He married Frances 'Franky' Childs, daughter of Nathan Childs and Elizabeth (?), on 26 May 1778 at Granville County, North Carolina. James I. Satterwhite Sr. died on 11 December 1822 at Granville County, North Carolina. He was buried after 11 December 1822 at Granville County, North Carolina.
     James I. Satterwhite Sr. appeared on the census of 1800 at Page 553, Hillsboro, Granville County, North Carolina; is age 45 and over. Living with him are 3 males under 10, 1 male 10-15, 2 males 16-25, 2 females under 10, 1 female 10-15 and 1 female 26-44. Living near Francis Wilkerson. He appeared on the census of 1810 at Page 913, Granville County, North Carolina; 1 male 10-15, 2 males 16-25, 1 male 45 and over, 2 females 10-15, 2 females 16-25 and 1 female 45 and over.

     Ursula Satterwhite was born circa 1760 at Granville County, North Carolina. She married Francis Wilkerson, son of John Wilkerson, on 16 April 1783 at Granville County, North Carolina. Ursula Satterwhite died in 1833 at Falls of Rough, Grayson County, Kentucky.

     Nancy Anne Satterwhite was born circa 1765. She married James William Hunt on 16 April 1785 at Granville County, Georgia. Nancy Anne Satterwhite died after 1810 at Chatooga County, Georgia.

     Smith Satterwhite was born circa 1766. He died before August 1815 at Granville County, North Carolina.
     Smith Satterwhite appeared on the census of 1810 at Page 885, Granville County, North Carolina; is living near his brothers Mitchell and Stephen. 2 males 16 - 25, 1 male 26-44.

     Stephen Satterwhite was born circa 1772 at Granville County, North Carolina. He married Nancy Ann Knott, daughter of John Knott, on 6 August 1795 at Granville County, North Carolina.

     Susannah Satterwhite was born circa 1764 at Granville County, North Carolina. She married John Iris Childs Sr., son of Nathan Childs and Elizabeth (?), circa 1780 at Louisa County, Virginia. Susannah Satterwhite died on 25 May 1825 at Jones County, Georgia. She was buried after 25 May 1825 at Childs Family Cemetery, Jones County, Georgia.

     Elizabeth Satterwhite was born circa 1770. She died at Chatooga County, Georgia.

     Martha 'Patsy' Satterwhite was born circa 1774 at Granville County, North Carolina. She married Logustine Pettypool, son of John Pettypool and Sarah Sanford, on 28 July 1794. Martha 'Patsy' Satterwhite died circa 1802 at Granville County, North Carolina.

     Frances Satterwhite was born in 1758. She married Joseph Pomfret Davis on 22 December 1774 at Granville County, North Carolina.

     Mitchell Satterwhite was born circa 1776. He died in October 1816 at Granville County, North Carolina.

Stroud died on 5 February 1987 at Arkansas at age 83; was found in the Social Security death index last living in Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas.
