Cephus Clemin Satterwhite & Singing Group
On the back of the picture, in the handwriting of Ludie Celette (Carrington) Hodge:
"A Singing School group, Uncle Cephus Satterwhite teacher. Ludie 8, Lona 12, Maxie 11, Emmett 14, Brodie 13, Papa."

The man believed to be Cephus Clemin, may be his brother William Horace.
The man bears a strong resemblance to the picture of Horace we now have.
