Herman Lee Satterwhite Born: 17 July 1922; Died: 9 August 2002. He is the son of Lora (Fielder) and Ira Walter Satterwhite. This is a painting done by Joe Satterwhite not long before his father died. This is what Joe said about his father: "Herman Lee Satterwhite is well remembered as a hard working man, decorated veteran, and a man who raised his family well. He gave freely and generously of his time and knowledge, and was always there to give a helping hand to those in need of it. His strength and courage was recognized by all who met and knew him."
