     Alvis L. Satterwhite was born on 4 May 1894. He married Mary Ethel McQuigg on 8 October 1923. Alvis L. Satterwhite died in April 1987 at Shattuck, Ellis County, Oklahoma, at age 92.

     Emma Satterwhite was born on 6 October 1860 at Alabama. She married Martin Baysinger Crawford, son of Simon B. Crawford and Elizabeth Baysinger, on 3 March 1879. Emma Satterwhite married William David Slay, son of William Slay and Janette W. Elliott, on 1 December 1897. Emma Satterwhite died on 3 May 1938 at Texas at age 77. She was buried after 3 May 1938 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Appleby, Nacogdoches County, Texas; I have picture of grave marker.
     Emma Satterwhite appeared on the census of 20 June 1900 at S.D.8; E.D.31; Sheet 18 B, Nacogdoches Precinct M1, Nacogdoches County, Texas; has had 3 children and 3 are living. Her mother Jane is living with Emma and William D. Slay.

     Martin Baysinger Crawford was born on 18 August 1853. He married Emma Satterwhite, daughter of John Henry Satterwhite Sr. and Jane 'Jennie' Stewart, on 3 March 1879. Martin Baysinger Crawford died on 20 September 1892 at Nacogdoches County, Texas, at age 39. He was buried after 20 September 1892 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Appleby, Nacogdoches County, Texas.

     William David Slay was born on 31 August 1853 at Scott County, Mississippi. He married Harriett Delia Davidson on 21 January 1875 at Nacogcoches County, Texas. William David Slay married Emma Satterwhite, daughter of John Henry Satterwhite Sr. and Jane 'Jennie' Stewart, on 1 December 1897. William David Slay died on 9 February 1941 at Appleby, Nacogdoches County, Texas, at age 87. He was buried on 9 February 1941 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Appleby, Nacogdoches County, Texas; I have picture of double marker with his first wife Delia.

     Thomas Monroe Collins was born on 21 November 1865 at Winnsboro, Wood County, Texas. He married Dovie Inez Trotter, daughter of John Trotter and Tennessee Ferguson, circa 1922. Thomas Monroe Collins died on 5 December 1942 at Mineola, Wood County, Texas, at age 77; I have copy of death certificate. He was buried on 7 December 1942 at Judson Cemetery, Longview (north of), Gregg County, Texas.

     Benjamin Franklin Self Jr. was born on 8 January 1906 at Oklahoma. He married Eva May Satterwhite, daughter of John B. Satterwhite and Nancy Ann Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Keels, on 22 September 1927. Benjamin Franklin Self Jr. died on 5 January 1948 at Hillcrest Memorial Hospital, Waco, McLennan County, Texas, at age 41; I have copy of death certificate. He was buried on 7 January 1948 at Oakwood Cemetery, Waco, McLennan County, Texas.

     Royce Luther Anderson was born in 1924 at Mississippi. He married Martha Jean Satterwhite, daughter of Richard Satterwhite and Ella Vantrice Snell, before 1944. Royce Luther Anderson and Martha Jean Satterwhite were divorced in 1955. Royce Luther Anderson died in January 1984 at Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.

     Bobbie Jeanne Roberson was born on 8 March 1912. She married James Leo Satterwhite, son of David Mitchell Satterwhite and Francis L. Cossey, before 1933. Bobbie Jeanne Roberson married Floyd Dent on 6 February 1954; I have copy of article announcing the marriage. Bobbie Jeanne Roberson died on 24 December 1991 at Bexar County, Texas, at age 79.

     Willie Mae King was born on 5 February 1897 at Texas. She married James Clyde Satterwhite, son of Jesse C. Satterwhite and Carrie Lavonia Sansom, circa 1917. Willie Mae King died on 5 January 1982 at Texas at age 84. She was buried after 5 January 1982 at West Hill Cemetery, Sherman, Grayson County, Texas.

     Ruby Jo Satterwhite was born on 8 October 1918 at Texas. She died in February 1982 at Texas at age 63. She was buried in February 1982 at West Hill Cemetery, Sherman, Grayson County, Texas.

     Leona Kinder was born on 2 April 1894 at Tennessee. She married Thomas Clay Satterwhite, son of William O. Satterwhite and Anna Pearl 'Annie' Lawrence, on 4 January 1914 at Mount Vernon, Franklin County, Texas. Leona Kinder died on 12 July 1974 at Starr Nursing Home, Merkel, Taylor County, Texas, at age 80; I have copy of death certificate. I have copy of obituary. She was buried on 15 July 1974 at Rose Hill Cemetery, Merkel, Taylor County, Texas.
     As of 2 April 1894, Leona Kinder was also known as Leona Combs.

     Gerusha Rue Kinder was born on 29 June 1895 at Tennessee. She married Ellie Vinson Satterwhite, son of William O. Satterwhite and Anna Pearl 'Annie' Lawrence, on 1 June 1913 at Franklin County, Texas; was found at the Franklin County Genealogical Society Web site. Gerusha Rue Kinder died on 21 November 1985 at Texas at age 90. She was buried after 21 November 1985 at Rose Hill Cemetery, Merkel, Taylor County, Texas.

     Margaret Jo Collier was born circa 1920. She married Laslie Ward 'Bill' Satterwhite, son of Henry Oscar Satterwhite and Martha M. Johnson, before 1947. Margaret Jo Collier died circa 1998.

     Steven Ward Satterwhite was born on 13 July 1948 at Travis County, Texas. He died on 23 April 2006 at Texas at age 57; I have transcribed obituary. See obituary. He was buried on 28 April 2006 at Texas.

     Dola Mae Boykin was born on 7 April 1913. She married Solon James Satterwhite, son of William Horace Satterwhite and Indiana A. 'Pickey' Yarnell, before 1938. Dola Mae Boykin died on 16 February 1992 at age 78; was found in the Social Security death index last living in Flint, Smith County, Texas.

     Jesse Stanley Carroll was born on 27 December 1902 at Glendale, Trinity County, Texas. He married Lillie Virginia Satterwhite, daughter of Thomas Allen Satterwhite and Lillie Octavia Lane, on 27 December 1926 at Bryan, Brazos County, Texas. Jesse Stanley Carroll died on 30 December 1949 at Bryan Hospital, Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, at age 47; I have copy of death certificate. He was buried on 1 January 1950 at Bryan City Cemetery, Bryan, Brazos County, Texas.

     James Allen Bryant appeared on the census of 28 April 1930 at E.D.215-12; S.D.8; Sheet 9 A, Precinct 8, Stephens County, Texas; is age 27, married to Bennie, and he is working as a tool dresser on oil wells. One child is with them.

     Gardner Fred Johnson was born on 7 January 1906 at Lott, Falls County, Texas. He married Yuba Lily Satterwhite, daughter of Alexander Earl Satterwhite and Georgia Castus Langford, on 8 January 1927 at Stephens County, Texas; was found in book 8; page 14. Gardner Fred Johnson died on 4 April 1984 at Albany, Shackelford County, Texas, at age 78.

     Bennie Brenson Satterwhite Jr. was born on 4 July 1935 at Cameron County, Texas. He died on 9 February 1976 at Harris County, Texas, at age 40; was found in the Social Security death index as Benjamin Satterwhite Jr. I don't know for sure that it is our Bennie Jr. I am researching further.
